After growing up in a small town back east, Gordon headed west and never looked back. He graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in psychology with teaching certifications in elementary education, emphasizing early childhood education and learning disability remediation. After graduating, Gordon worked as a teacher in Hawaii for seven years.

From the beautiful Pacific Ocean of Hawaii Gordon headed to the spectacular mountains of Colorado. This move introduced him to his second career of business management in which he operated as the general manager for several major restaurants along the Front Range. It was in this industry that Gordon became a “foodie” and discovered his talent for gourmet cooking.

Always seeking challenges, Gordon obtained a paralegal certification where his studies of real estate law and contracts led him to become a Real Estate Broker. Gordon and his wife, Diane Alexander, moved from Denver to Buena Vista on Valentine’s Day, 1994.

Gordon has been helping Sellers and Buyers with their real estate needs in Buena Vista for 18 years. “I pride myself on providing personal, professional real estate services. My job is to make sure each client receives my best effort every day. My goal is to make your real estate experience with me pleasant and stress-free.” Gordon knows that the only way to stay current in this industry is to make continuing education a priority and he has received the following Real Estate designations: MRE, Master of Real Estate; GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; SRS, Seller Representative Specialist; and CRB, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager.
